Candice & Randy [Quadra Cortes Island Wedding Photography]

Candice returned to her childhood haunts for her August wedding with Randy.  The ceremony was held on the spit at Manson's Landing Provincial Park, a very short distance from the home she grew up in.  The couple met when they both worked as fishing guides for Painter's Lodge in Campbell River.  So, it's fitting that that they would  depart from the ceremony not in a decorated car trailing tin cans, but rather choose to head out to sea in a row boat trailing balloons and streamers.  Tin cans would not likely have had the same effect.  We followed along behind in our canoe balancing delicately with a paddle in one hand and camera in the other.  Barkly, Candice and Randy's german hunting dog, came along for the ride adding canine character to the photo shoot on the nearby rock islets. We have to mention the kinship solidarity out in full at this wedding—Candice's extended family, including sisters, mother, aunt's and her best girl friend's made for a super-powerful feminine force present and engaged at this wedding. Wowza!Congratulations Candice & Randy, thank you for having us document your styling, sumptuous, super-summery Cortes wedding. There's nowhere we would rather be!
