Kane is an old friend of mine, so when I heard he was engaged I crossed my fingers— eventually he got in touch and here is the wonderful result of our first wedding of the season at Sea Cider Farm in Saanich.
I have to say, I have never seen that guy so happy. He was grinning from ear-to-ear all night. Looking through the images, I realize he has the giant love-struck grin in nearly all the photos — call me crazy but I think he may be love. Proof? Check out the ceremony shots. There are a lot of them, it’s true, but it’s not our fault! Blame the bride and groom. They are too beautiful, and too authentic and real and raw to resist!
After the ceremony we had some laughs with the ridiculous gorgeous and fun wedding party—combined with that classic April light we managed to capture a couple of lovely moments. You can’t buy that kind of light. It just doesn’t happen any other time of year. It’s magic.
I am beyond happy to see such a wonderful person so happy and so in love. Kane and Salomeh, what an honor to capture this day for you.
