Vancouver Island Nude Photography with Ted and Nadia
Ted and Nadia, so incredibly lovely in front of our cameras. Your connection, your ease, your grace. Alex and I are passionate about nude sessions, for a lot of reasons. Body-positivity, sex-positivity, the list is long, the explanations can get lengthy. But here, what is so clear, is just this simple authenticity, when we don't have the trappings of our clothing. When it's skin on skin. Just you and me. as though to say: "let's just be bodies shall we?"Ted wanted to surprise Nadia with a Valentine's day present. So we booked a nude photo session, and we planned the shoot for warmer summer weather. Ted & Nadia arrived for our session in late August. We almost postponed because it was a bit cold on our shoot day — luckily the sun came out, the warm evening sun drifted into our garden, and we photographed much of this at our home and the beach in front of our house, right here on lovely Cortes.The last time we saw Ted and Nadia on Cortes was the summer of 2016, when they were playing in the band Masimba Marimba at our wedding! Alex and I were the ones not wearing clothes in many of the photos from that day! We had a first dip instead of a first dance, and many guests joined us for our first skinny dip as a married couple.Such a joy to turn the camera on these two this past summer.
